There is a famous place in Stockholm called Skansen. This famous open-air museum was built in 1891. Fans of Swedish architecture will be satisfied. What is more, some of the old buildings still work! It the late December there is a great Christmas market in Skansen. It’s impossible to imagine winter Stockholm tourism without this fabulous place. You are not feeling like buying souvenirs? OK, but what would you say about baking Christmas bread in the 19th century bakery? Looks rather challenging, doesn’t it?

Shopping for everyone

You will turn into a true shopper if you visit Stureplan square. People love walking around and watching interesting things. Stureplan cannot be ignored during your Christmas holidays. There is no other place in the world which has this Scandinavian ambience.

After shopping you could go for ice-skating and have a great fun with your family and friends. The skating rink visitors are mainly foreign travelers. Therefore the skating rink is an ideal place for striking up new acquaintances.
