Christmas in Stockholm

Stureplan cannot be ignored during your Christmas holidays. One will never find such a place with such a Scandinavian spirit in any other corner of the planet.
Ice-skating is a good solution after shopping, the rink is not fat from Stureplan. The skating rink visitors are usually foreigners. Thus if you want to meet new friends it seems to be a perfect place for that.
Family entertainment
Visitors of all ages will appreciate Stockholm museums. However, you can find some special “family attractions”. Stockholm circus would be a great choice. Ferry tours are exciting too. Find a ferry just near the Opera and join a fantastic tour around the see area. However, please keep in mind that severe wind is not a suitable weather for sea trips. But even if you are cold you may always ask for a thick and incredibly cozy buck skin. You can enjoy incomparable views from the deck if the weather is nice.

Stockholm has a small light day in early winter and from time to time the weather is simply horrible. Even if it’s 0C outside a piercing Swedish wind can make you feel like it’s -15C at least. Then it’s recommended to look for some indoor activity.
Young tourists often suggest going to local escape rooms saying that they have tremendous design and plot. There are dozens of different escape rooms and you can easily find them on the Internet. There are about 30 places of that type in Stockholm!
The National Museum and the Royal Opera are amazing options for an afternoon pastime. The Stockholm bars are marvelous and you literally must visit them. The old town is just full of clubs and bars. Typically nightclubs in Stockholm look a lot like same places in Europe. The prices could be rather high, but anyway local beer is worth tasting. Stormy nightlife is also a significant thing about the capital of Sweden. All you need to do is to go out late and go along the streets. Everyone will quickly and easily find a cool place.

Globe-shaped Sports Center is another attraction of Stockholm. Check out the largest ball in the world. It makes it a very interesting place to visit especially because it has an outstanding viewing point. The revolving deck moves around the Center and gets to the height of 130 meters! The Stockholm view from there is really breathtaking.
